The manufacture of individual, customer-specific semifinished products such as wires, sheet metals, tubing, casting material and ring blanks as well as our 24-hour storage service for semifinished products make Carl Schaefer an important partner of the precious metal processing and creative handicraft industries. In order to further strengthen our position in the market, our entire semifinished products fabrication segment has been comprehensively enhanced.
Apart from the complete modernisation of our facilities, a particular emphasis was placed on the investment in new machines such as modern rolling mills, annealing machines, forming rolls, smelting plants and winding machines.
Furthermore, we have significantly upgraded our quality control laboratory as well as all our quality management system processes.
Apart from the production of precious metal products, the core competence of Carl Schaefer is the reprocessing and recovery of precious metals. In this segment, we invested especially in the further development of the analytical laboratory and new analysis technology, the smelting process and the chemical laboratory. We have expanded our capacity in all areas and will be able to justify the confidence you place in us by acting even more quickly and accurately in future.

Everyone who knows Carl Schaefer will, already when entering the courtyard, notice that incredibly much has changed. Apart from the insulation of the facade, the thermally insulated security windows and the extensive renovation of the roof, it is especially the changes to the infrastructure in all areas of operation which is new. The social rooms of our employees as well as the sanitary facilities have been completely redeveloped and the inner courtyard has been redesigned. Within the framework of the restructuring, a completely new security concept has also been implemented.
