Great company anniversary celebration with customers and partners
On 16 September 2011, with around 200 guests, glasses were raised in the Reuchlinhaus to the last one hundred and fifty years of Carl Schaefer. Customers, suppliers, business partners and the press, as well as guests from the worlds of business and politics, were welcomed at a champagne reception from 2 p.m. in the Pforzheim Jewellery Museum.
After a welcome by Alfred Schaefer-Krack and speeches by the Chair of the Advisory Board, Regina Rudorfer, and CEO Daniel Schnelle, the first mayor of Pforzheim, Roger Heidt, acknowledged this family company's loyalty to the area and its willingness to invest. Then the President of the IHK, Burkhardt Thost, remembered the years of rapid industrial expansion in Pforzheim, and the Sparkasse CEO Dr. Herbert Müller shared his happiness about the decades of partnership with this medium-sized company. Dr. Ulrich Klotz from the Precious-Metals Research Institute in Schwäbisch-Gmünd then finally presented current research results.
At the subsequent standing buffet in lovely weather, there was sufficient time for discussions in the inner court of the Reuchlinhaus before guests departed on the "Golden City" bus to the Pforzheim Jewellery Worlds where, after a short visit to the Carl Schaefer anniversary exhibition, celebrations continued until late evening.
